F-22A Raptor Deployment RAF Lakenheath 2016
Macks Aviation had the privilege of being invited to RAF Lakenheath on the 3rd May 2016 to meet squadron personnel from the United States Air Force 95th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron (EFS).
Over a period of a week in April F-22A Raptors of the 325th Fighter Wing / 95th Fighter Squadron deployed to RAF Lakenheath from their homebase of Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida. They arrived in 3 flights of 4 aircraft with associated tanker support.
The pilots coming from both the 95th Fighter Squadron (FS) and the 301st Fighter Squadron. The 301st Fighter Squadron is a United States Air Force Reserve squadron, assigned to the 325th Operations Group, stationed at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida. It is an associate unit of the active duty 325th Fighter Wing.
