RAF Hawk Display 2010

-- Back To Gallery Menu -- -- Back To 2010 Gallery Menu --

I have decided to dedicate a page to the RAF Display Hawk 2010 having witnessed a very polished display at the Duxford Spring Show.

I plan to add more images as and when during the season I have the chance to photograph the display.

The Hawk Display team is the public face of Number 4 Flying Training School (4FTS) based at RAF Valley on Anglesey and their full time mission is to train the Royal Air Force and Royal Navy combat pilots of the future.

The Hawk display exists to demonstrate the professional excellence of the RAF and promote recruitment to the RAF, aiming to inspire people to join the RAF, both as officers and airmen, and to all trades, not just aircrew.

2010 Marks the 50th anniversary of the formation of 4FTS at RAF Valley and also the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
